Vote NO on Moving Oregon’s Border.

From putting our water rights at risk to making it harder to see a doctor, moving Oregon’s border could have serious consequences for our community. Who really benefits here?

“I looked into what moving Oregon’s border would mean for me and my family. Turns out, Measure 7-86 puts our water and property rights in jeopardy. I can’t afford that risk.”

Steve Uffelman, Prineville

More Red Tape. More Risk.

How Moving Oregon’s Border Could Hurt Our Families

OUR WATER AND PROPERTY RIGHTS AT RISK

There’s NO guarantee that rights and titles we fought for in Oregon would transfer to Idaho – creating risk for all of us about ownership, access, and cost.

EXPENSIVE LICENSES TO WORK AND DO BUSINESS

Nurses, small business owners, hairdressers, and more would all have to get NEW Idaho licensing just to keep working and doing business.

HARDER TO SEE A DOCTOR OR GET MEDICAL CARE

Moving the border could create huge healthcare deserts. And Idaho is also facing a major SHORTAGE of doctors — one of the worst in the nation.

Who REALLY benefits from moving Oregon’s border?

From violent white nationalists who want to create a separatist homeland to wealthy investors looking to gobble up more real estate for their vacation homes, moving Oregon’s border benefits out-of-state interests … but not us.

Ammon Bundy, who led the armed Malheur standoff and has threatened police officers and harassed hospital workers, supports moving Oregon’s border. He said “I love that idea,” adding “those people are just like us.”

Even more wealthy Californians and others will look to buy vacation homes and move here, driving up our property costs and benefitting from our tax dollars.

Members of the white nationalist group, Patriot Front, support secession. Patriot Front formed in the wake of the deadly Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville, Virginia.
